About Heritage Baptist Church Heritage Baptist Church is an Fundamental Baptist church located in Jefferson, Texas, the beautiful "Bed & Breakfast Capital" of Texas. Heritage was founded 13 years ago by Pastor Gene Lee, and God has done many great and wonderful things at Heritage through the years. Heritage is currently pastored by Seth Buckner, originally from Kentucky, but a resident of Jefferson for over five years. Bro. Seth previously pastored the Good Shepherd Baptist Church (Shepherdsville, KY)for one year and Bible Baptist Church (Indianapolis, IN) for six years. The church ministers in various ways, including Sunday School classes, where our children are given relevant Bible lessons; weekly discipleship training, where adults are taught, one-on-one, Biblical truths that establish new believers in their Christian walk. Heritage Baptist Church is grateful to be actively supporting missionaries at home and abroad. One long time mission work of the church is the nursing home ministry, where men and women of the church minister twice a month. Heritage Baptist Church believes it is a privilege to serve the Lord, and we are looking forward to the great things He has in store for the future.
